Is this it?
I am starting to think the problem is political party line voting. We live in a country where our representation does not vote for want the people they represent want but instead based on the ones yelling the loudest and with the most money. The people we vote in are supposed to vote based on what we want, not what they or thier party wants. They represent us, not themselves. A democrat from the mid-west should not vote consistantly the same as one on the east coast just as a republican from San Francisco should not vote like one from northern Indiana.

We can only wonder...
Why are we now holding a job summit? The direction of things being done is making little to no sense at all. I agree that we need jobs but this economy is never going to go anywhere if we do not get government spending under control. The single largest issue this economy has is the national debt. I am not blaming the current administration for the total value of this debt by any means but the rate it is increasing makes anything of the past pale. ...and it will only get worse if we do end up with things like Cap-n-Trade, Healthcare and other socialist styled programs currently being looked at.
Lets get some value back to our currency. Let's keep the government agendas to the items that the goverment is supposed to control. Balanced budget is a good word, not a bad one.

Not to just get on the bandwagon, but...
Well it is obvious that there are issues when over 80% of people do not want somethin but over 50% of the people representing them go for it anyway. It is also always questionable when 10% of people will benefit from 70% of the other have to pay for. There are ways to help those in need but it's not always a handout that will make them even more dependant on the government. Even worse will be the impact to jobs in this country and later on the loss of medical professionals as those individuals go looking for better ways to make money.
On a second note, man do I hate hackers and people who make thier living off of stealing peoples information.
Lets not even get started on the shootings last week by extremists. ...and yes, this is terrorism and should be considered a hate crime.

...and then we all just scream!
Well I am becoming less impressed by both political parties. Conservatives are no longer conservative. Both parties vote party line and not based on what the people they represent want. We have taken the bible out of classrooms and no longer are aloud to punish children but wonder why there is no respect. Oh and if you are going to remove Chirstianity then all religions should have the same treatment, so no head dressing, scarfs, jewels in the forhead or any such items relating to religion should be allowed.
Ok, my last thing is a great quote I recently saw. There has been much mention that somehow Obama is simliar to Lincoln. I think the following will clear that up for anyone who things that is true... "You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence. You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves. Abraham Lincoln" If there are similarities then they stop with being slender.

Here we go again!
Well not to say that I always follow Rush like a mad man but sometimes when he's right he is right. I love that his comment yesterday saying "Dede Scozzafava has just screwed every RINO in the country..." was priceless. What was better was how all the liberal media stations were outraged at this comment of beastiality. Well, someone needs to pay attention first that rhino was indeed RINO which is for "Republican In Name Only" not the animal. It's not a matter of a sense of humor it's anything against the consrevative movement.
What the crap is the deal with the EU putting up a bunch of money toward fixing the worlds heating problems and then trying to tell the US and China we must follow thier lead. Maybe it wasn't for them to be in the front in the first place. There is nothing wrong with trying to take care of the planet. This is what is so amazing about all these bills like "Cap-n-Trade" the Kyoto Treaty, they all act like they have the solution to the issue. Moving money around and allowing countries to still waste but pay other countries because they don't is not a fix, but it is wealth redistribution. If people want to attack global warming by real means then you got my vote but it does must involve true change. The great part about this is there is always someone who is going to make a buck and that is the person who is about promoting it. Electric cars are about the worst thing I've ever heard of. You add them to areas where there are already power issues and charge them over and over until you have to throw away the used and useless cells. Not to mention that to boot the power to charge them comes from either fossil fuel plants or nuclear plants. Wow, we really got us a clean and healthy thing there don't we.
Ok, to recap. Change is great but only if it makes sense. This country is going through tons of change, but not the changes that are needed.
Oh and not wanting US Government healthcare is not a stab at any race or person. It is a belief in capitalism and that supply and demand will eventually work things out. The last thing we need now is more taxes and more companies cutting workers becuase of loss of healthcare related jobs.

Amazed and scared to death!
I am just horrified by the path of the current administration. This does not mean I totally agreed with everything in the prior one. It does not mean I hate any specific people based on race or economic status either. ...but in a government by the people, for the people, how can over 2/3 of the population not want health care reform but it is going to be pushed through anyway. The media (either side, depending on who you want to listen to) each slant things to fit whatever they are pushing. Commercials go through and talk about how costs will sky rocket for average families if the current bill goes through and it's no joke.
Not to mention, can we as a country really expect that our government that runs (if you can call it that) our post office, medicare and social security is truely capable of running a cost effective and efficient health care system?
Don't get me started on socialist programs like cap and trade. Moving money around as the Kyoto Protocol is wanting to do inside the US is crazy. There is nothing in either bill that really lower waste or saves anything but is a great way to take from some to give to others. While I do not consider myself green, I do think there are many things we can and should do to help make it a better world. The cap and trade bill is not one of those things.

Not to be a pain...
...but the idea that a national health care provided by our government will solve anything is a worse joke than amny things I've seen. There are surely lots of problems with avialability and price of health care. However, forced removal of money to doctors and hospitals will only force more and more of them to close as well as more of the talented people in that field to leave for other higher paying opportunities. Lastly, in this horrid economy the last thing we need is for this to go through and cost potentially millions of more unemployed X-health care insurance workers.
Don't get me started on cap n trade either!

Woot the new year is here!
Well it's getting further an further between my posts... We'll have to see if I keep this up or not. However, a belated happy new years to all. I hope everyone had a good safe holiday.
We are rid of 2 shih-tzu puppies and had to put down the mom. It's a good and bad note all in one. Mocha was a good dog, but the sickness she had finally was winning. Luckily, she left the world with 6 wonderful offspring, all of which seem to be very good and smart.
Bowling back with a bang as our team starts off the new year and 2nd half with 22 of 30 points.
Volleyball starts up tonight, should be good.
WoW is still wow. I am just having a good time, even doing grind stuff and some things I used to do all the time. It's odd how some time away will help with stuff like that. It's just to bad I get so addicted to it though, in ways I wish I didn't. Ofcourse, if I had all day every day to do it, maybe I wouldn't have the problem but with really little true "free time" I guess I try to fit it in when I can.
