Ofcourse as somone who grew up on it I would think so. I'm not anti other eras of music that is for sure. I'd still say my true favorite band is the Beatles. Van Halen would be my number 2. Anyway in a conversation today we were trying to determine if Hysteria or Pyromania was the better Def Leppard album. I instantly thought well ofcourse Hysteria, but upon review, wow is Pyromania good.
Hysteria: "Women" "Rocket" "Animal" "Love Bites" "Pour Some Sugar on Me" "Armageddon It" "Gods of War" "Don't Shoot Shotgun" "Run Riot" "Hysteria" "Excitable" "Love and Affection"
Pyromania: "Rock Rock (Till You Drop)""Photograph""Stagefright""Too Late for Love""Die Hard the Hunter" "Foolin'""Rock of Ages" "Comin' Under Fire""Action! Not Words" "Billy's Got a Gun"
Either way, what great albums...

Happy Halloween!
Wow the last day of the work week, first day of indoor soccer and the kids get to bring me home a bunch of candy to eat! What a day!
I did have one other thing running through my head and that is how in the world do you know if anyone has even looked at your blog? Maybe no one knows. Maybe no one cares. I suppose in ways I don't. I figure I'm typing into no where, but it's kinda fun to have a place to just say what you want.

Stocks
The ups and downs of the market make no sense to me. Why is it that no one bothers to really look at the value of a company anymore. I suppose as a person getting in the market for retirement, maybe I should hope for the crazy unlogical run ups, but the crashese that have happened lately are the results. If I had the money, I would be a buyer at this time though. Ofcourse, better be ready to hold on to it for a while if you really want to see your returns. ...but waiting could mean you may just miss the run.
Job cuts and Windows!
First off, wow is the economy odd. I have just never understood how these big financial companies can lay off thousands of people and expect things to get better!!! If you lay off 5000 people, didn't you just create 5000 more potential account problems for not only yourself but for other financial companies. Even if your own employees didn't have your products, if they start defaulting on other companies products it will hurt the other company. In turn, they have to lay off. Eventually it comes right back to bite them in the tail. There has to be better way of saving money or cutting costs than always removing large numbers of the workers. That's my 2 cents anyway.
Oh and who else is interested in seeing how the everyday people take to the new computers from Dell and HP that are using Linux based operating systems? I'm not anti-MS but I also like to see things keep getting better. Check it out here: http://bigtech.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2008/10/29/pc-makers-move-closer-to-a-post-windows-world/

A bit of everything!
I have nothing specific on my mind today. I guess to much is going on.
First, gratz to the Phillies on the win. I'm not a fan, but since they beat my Dodgers and I'm a national league guy, glad they won! I do hope my Flyers can turn the rough start around though and bring home the cup for the city of brotherly love.
A second gratz out to my bro who is closing on his first home today!
I bowled a 574 last night. The real question is that good or not? Based on my current average, yes. Based on some past averages, no. Based on what I want, no. As one of my bowling team mates (first year league bowler) said to me last night, "Who'd have thought this could be hard at all, the pins don't move!"
Oh and now a complaint!!! Why is the NBA already playing?

Mmmmmmm Anything!
Such as "mmmmmm steak!" Even if you do not like steak who can say that without thinking of Homer Simpson?
Speaking of this... ...hopefully someone else out there remembers the days of Quake and Quake 2 running around as Homer in game! It was a blast. We used to get several guys all with various characters running around and it made lan gaming the best! I seem to recall Gumby and Cartman models that were both very funny too. It was fun to kill Gumby and it was fun to be killed as Cartman.

What is the rule of thumb?
So I was thinking this probably should have been my first post, but as it seems I'm most likely blogging into space it may not matter anyway.
Is it ok to create more than 1 post a day? Do you re-edit your posts and add new items to it or make new ones? Do you just hold your thoughts and post the next day?
Anyway, that is what I was thinking about. Have a good one.

So what about a new political party?
While this will never be a political post I will toss in things from all over from time to time.
My thought for today is this... ...why have we never had a successful new political party? I don't know the answer for failures in the past, but I think there has to be enough ticked off people out there today to get something new going! My thought is this, the two current parties are to big and do not look out for the people any longer. They are basically run like a business bent on being the one on top. What we need is a party that is based on the idea that the people are the power. I would think there could be countless numbers of people who would vote for someone who would listen to them.
Now keep in mind I'm not suggesting that if I say I have a specific view on something then that is how it should be voted on, but my idea is that an area that votes in someone would have that right. I mean, then what do you need for a person in an office, not much more than a spokesperson. Oh, what the house is really supposed to be, our spokespeople. We need a party that will vote on issues the way the "numbers" they answer to think.
This is how it was really intended. A house that sees what a response from the people that representative answer to. Senators that represent the general view of a state. States allowed to have some unique ideas and laws to make them stand out or be different.
I probably didn't say enough to really explain my thought. I'll probably make some people mad. Hey, it's my thought and my opinion. I never claim to have the only view and this is how I see it.

So Why blog?
I don't really know. That is the best question posed to me in some time. So I thought... "Why not blog?" ...and here I am. This is my first post. I have no clue when I'll post, what I'll post or why I'll post, but if I mention something that strikes accord, please feel free to respond.
