What is the rule of thumb?

So I was thinking this probably should have been my first post, but as it seems I'm most likely blogging into space it may not matter anyway.

Is it ok to create more than 1 post a day? Do you re-edit your posts and add new items to it or make new ones? Do you just hold your thoughts and post the next day?
